I'm OK...

A man stands above a rugged mountain path in the golden light.

I understand why my life has been on the path of jagged rocks that used to cut my feet at will.

I know that as I heal from the cuts, I don't walk along the same path as I used to. I know I now move in a higher walk, kinda like I'm on a cloud that softens my stride.

I only got here because I wanted to climb up and be noticed.

I've been smothered by the hand of what I thought was God. I've been smashed to the dirt by who I knew was my own father. It was always him. It was never anyone else. I only wished it was someone else.

Now, as I walk, I know how to be, kinda like I'll be ok.

As I look around, I know now I'm just still a child trying to find my way to me.

I am just me, a smile that has a stance.

I still cry in my own way, but I'll make it.

I'm ok...
